Being an Erasmus student is unique

My words can not express my outstanding experience in Erasmus for many reasons. The Erasmus program is my opportunity to have a better future and build a successful career in this domain.

I am Ngo Minh Hien, I am from Vietnam, I am studying International Management at the University of Messina. I have been living and studing in Messina, Sicily, for 2 years. I really wanted to compare Messina with another city and get used to a different pace of life. I did my internship as a housekeeper in Terra Dominicata- Hotel & Winery in Tarragona, Spain, through the Erasmus Traineeship programme. Tarragona is a province in the southern part of Catalonia. It borders the provinces of Castilla, Teruel, Zaragoza and Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. Tarragona is one of the most beautiful and historical cities in Europe. I was interested in learning one of the most popular languages in the world, Spanish, and feeling the connection between Italy and Spain. Both have an ideal image of sun, sea, friendly people and delicious food. My words are not enough to express my extraordinary Erasmus experience for many reasons. Firstly, the Erasmus programme is my opportunity to built a successful career in wineries. Secondly, the staff of the Erasmus Mobility Network is very professional, helpful and understanding how to support students like me whit the administracion tasks because they already knowour lack of knowledge regarding the Erasmus+ rules. Moreover, this Erasmus opportunity has given me a solid base and new ideas in the field of hospitality. I can also say that Erasmus added many good connections to my professional network. I also have new friends from all over the world, whom I will always consider as family. Being an Erasmus student is unique, and available to all young students, who want to explore European countries. I feel the true menaning of European awareness and citizenship now, ecause of the culturale and social interaction made possible because of the Programme Erasmus+.
